March 23, 2010

CUA Express will offer students a ride to the airport or Union Station at break.

The Student Association General Assembly is offering a free shuttle service for students to local airports and Union Station at University breaks. The service is called CUA Express and is funded by the student activity fee.

This is a new service offered to students.

Students will be driven in the Conferences and Pryzbyla Management Vans with University van-certified drivers. Each van holds 12 students, including the driver.

The vans will transport students to Baltimore Washington International Airport, Reagan Airport, and Union Station. They are direct to the location, with no stops in between.

Vans are planned to depart from Caldwell Hall, in front of The House. CUA Express asks students to keep luggage to a minimum of one checked piece, one carry on and one personal item, such a purse, laptop bag, or backpack.

Students can a make reservation for the service online at saga.cua.edu/cuaexpress. Reservations are taken on a first come first serve basis. Students must fill out an on-line form with their flight information. Currently, students can schedule transportation for March 31 or April 1 for the University’s Easter Break until 9 a.m. March 31. Only students that are registered can take the shuttle and must show ID before riding.
